Summer Camp Weeks

 Each week of summer camp is themed to give your child a diverse and engaging experience. Each week children will engage in fun, age appropriate play and learning. Check out each expedition below for more details. 

Roarrr! It’s dinosaurs! 

Come travel back in time to the Mesozoci Era. Our expedition begins by traveling to the Jurassic period and exploring all life forms and terrains. 

During this week children will get an opportunity to create their own dinosaurs, defend their camp against predators, research dinosaur genetics, make dinosaur snacks, create exploding volcanoes, and excavate dinosaur bones. The week will wrap up with some dinosaur tag and water play.

If your child loves dinosaurs, this is the week for them! It is sure to be a roaring good time. 

Ancient Egypt

 The second expedition will take us back in time to ancient Egypt. During this week, your child will explore ancient pyramids, study ancient traps and engineer their own, learn about mummies, hear stories about Egyptian myths, and even build their own pyramids. The week will wrap up with water play for younger children and older children defending their pyramid treasure from robbers.

This week is sure to be filled with lots of messy play, STEM, and creativity.

Ancient Rome

 Awhoo! Awhoo! Come join us as we travel back in time to ancient Rome. 

 During this week students will have the opportunity to become mini engineers. The Romans were known for their remarkable engineering feats and our campers will have the opportunity to do the same. 

During this week students can expect to build amazing structures, do catapult science, explore Roman soldiers, and compete in the Roman Olympics. The week will warp up with water play for younger students, while older students will play a capture the flag strategy game to lead their teams to victory on the battlefield. 

Medieval Times

 Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Come join us for a trip back into medieval times. 

 During this week campers can expect to learn about castles, dungeons, royalty, and the people of medieval times. Campers will explore stories of knights, sword play, and trade jobs. Campers will have the opportunity to watch a puppet show, build castles, compete in medieval games, explore medieval food, and create medieval art. The week will wrap up with a tournament for all children. Younger children will end the week with themed water play, while older children prepare their castles and forge alliances to win the ultimate water balloon battle. 

Legends of the Hidden Temple

 Come join us for a week filled with fun and adventure!

During this week campers can expect to learn about wilderness navigation, explore the depths of the jungle and the creatures in it, explore and create booby traps, look for the hidden temple treasure, overcome obstacles, and participate in fun messy play. 

This week will wrap up with younger and older campers participating in a fun obstacle course through the “temple” to try and get the treasure. Teams will race to see who can navigate the temple the fastest to find the hidden treasure within.

This will also be the week campers will go on a one night overnight  camping trip with the school. Further details on the camping trip will be given closer to the date schedule.

 

Yo Ho Matey! It’s Pirate week. 

 Come join us for a fun filled week on the high seas! 

During this week campers can expect to learn about pirates, explore ship building and test their creations on the high seas, learn about maps and how to use them, go on a treasure hunt, survive life on ship in an action role play adventure, recruit a crew, have fun with messy art play, and participate in fun action moving games. This week will wrap up with younger campers participating in a fun pirate themed messy play day with water play, while older children must keep their ships afloat and their crew unharmed in live action event. 

Underwater mysteries

Come join us as we explore the depths of the ocean. 

During this week campers will have the opportunity to explore the ocean floor, learn about creatures in the ocean, look for ship wrecks, and try to discover the mystery of Atlantis. 

Campers can expect to have lots of water play, messy play, create their won sea monster, try to discover the city of Atlantis, and work together to escape Poseidon’s wrath. The week will wrap up with younger campers participating in themed water play and games, while older campers try to escape the wrath of Poseidon in a live action event where they working together or stay trapped in the sunken city.
