Azalea City Montessori Summer Camp
Azalea City Montessori is ready to make your child’s summer fun and engaging!
ACM will offer summer camp to children ages 3 to 12. Campers will be split into two camps:
Primary Camp (Ages 3-6/7) (3k to rising first graders) and Elementary Camp (Ages 6/7-11/12) (first grade to rising 7th graders)
Our camp is for all potty-trained children ages 3-12. Our summer camps offer a weekly theme, field trips at the elementary level, and tons of hands on messy fun! Space is limited, so sign your child up today to have a summer of adventure and discovery.
Camp rates are set at : $170 per week/per camper
$155 per week/per camper for 2 or more campers from the same family
Registration Fee: $35 per camper (includes a t-shirt)
Camp Deposit: A $10 deposit per camp week is also required this year to make sure parents commit to sending enrolled campers. The weekly holding fee is refundable up to two (2) weeks before your campers scheduled weeks. This deposit will be credited toward camp tuition.
Summer Camp Hours: 8:00 am -4:00 pm
*Summer Camp is Closed on the following dates: July 4th-July 7th and July 28th-August 1st 2025.
Primary Summer Camp (Ages 3-6/7)
The 2025 summer camp theme is Biomes. Campers will learn about the different biomes and the life that thrives in them.

Thematic activities will focus on animals and plants of the oceans, coral reefs, ocean-related language and vocabulary, naming the earth’s oceans, sand and water play and water safety.

Elementary Summer Camp (Ages 7/8-12)
The 2025 elementary summer camp theme is Ancient Civilizations. Campers will have a blast from the past discovering all about ancient history.
Due to high demand, some elementary weeks are filling up and we will move to a wait list. If enough campers are waitlisted, we will add capacity, so sign up today!

Summer camps are charged by week and cost $170 dollars per camper per week or $155 per week per camper for families of 2 or more.
This approach allows families to pick and choose what camps their children attend, instead of charging for a whole month at a time.

ACM summer camps are for all potty trained children ages 3 -12 (rising 7th graders).

All camps run from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm.
At this time there is no before or after care offered at ACM summer camps.

Montessori is a philosophy and the principals and values are still in effect throughout the summer camp time. These principles include freedom within limits, developmentally appropriate activities, hands-on learning, and peace education. However, summer campers typically do not work with the traditional Montessori materials and the focus is more on exploration and having hands-on developmentally appropriate fun. This includes lots of time spent getting dirty, playing outside (weather permitting), playing with sensory items and tables, and working with many art materials.

ACM strives to provide children with onsite field trips, guest presentations, and lots of developmentally appropriate lessons and play during the summer.
At times ACM may take elementary children off site for a field trip to support summer learning. ACM will always inform parents of any and all enrichment activities at least one week before scheduled activities.
Enrichment also includes lots of outdoor exploration including water days. For the safety of campers and staff ACM DOES NOT attend or participate in summer swimming pools of any kind. ACM does provide a fun splash pad, sprinkler, and on occasion a blow up water slide.

In order to sign up for summer camp your child must be at least 3 years of age and fully potty trained.
If you are ready to sign up your child for summer camp, just click on the link above to register your child today. A confirmation email will be sent to you within 2 days during the weekday and within 4 days on the weekend.

Azalea City Montessori summer camp has limited space and is in high demand. We want to make sure all families have the opportunity to attend, if you enroll your camper but don’t show up it is usually to late to fill the camp spot on such short notice. This policy gives us a chance to contact our waiting families for a spot if your plans or circumstances change.
The holding fee is refundable up to two (2) weeks before your campers start date. This holding fee is applied toward camp tuition.
