Pina Hill

Primary Lead Teacher

Ms Pina has been a Montessori primary guide for ten years. She is certified in primary and has earned a NAMC certificate as well as her Child Development Association credential in bilingual education. In her previous life she ran her own fashion design business in Venezuela and loves preparing beautiful environments for her students. She lives in Spanish Fort with her husband and two sons.

Franchesca Luthje

Primary Assistant Teacher

Ms Franchesca has taught in various Montessori schools for the past six years, including work in a Spanish immersion classroom and attended Montessori as a small child in the Dominican Republic. She attended Florida International University and is an artist in her spare time. She lives in Daphne with her son who is also a Montessori child.

Angela Fedor

Founder & Director; Lower Elementary Co-Teacher

Ms Angela founded Azalea City Montessori in 2014 with the help of a dedicated group of  parents who wanted a different option for their children’s education in Midtown Mobile. She worked in nonprofit grant management and developed and managed non-traditional education programs for the Girl Scouts of South Alabama before falling in love with Montessori. She is slowly working towards a 6-12 (lower and upper elementary) MACTE certification from the Center for Guided Montessori Studies.

Stephanie Fancher

Lower Elementary Co-Teacher 

Ms Stephanie has seven years of experience in Montessori settings, both as a teacher and director. She is AMS-certified in lower elementary and a state-licensed teacher. Ms. Stephanie is a nutrition coach in her spare time and lives in Daphne with her two daughters.

Ashley McIntyre

Teacher & Office Manager

Ms Ashley is a 2018 graduate of Spring Hill College, where she studied Art and Psychology. She has a passion for working with children and was a tutor and volunteer teacher for five years in public schools. She planned to continue with them, but Azalea City Montessori has opened her eyes to a new way of teaching. “I have fallen in love with the school,” she says. She lives in Mobile and plans to continue her studies in art and education.
